17 Affirmations for Friendships
You can easily meet and maintain genuine friendships no matter your age. These affirmations for friendships will help you manifest just that!
Whether I need a shoulder to lean on or a night out, I feel lucky to have built a community of friends who support, love, and show up for me. Especially as a 40-something-year-old mom who has moved more times than I can count. I created an amazing circle of friends in a new town by reciting affirmations for friendships. I grew tired of feeling lonely and complaining about my circumstances.Â
The friendships I have now are the ones I’ve always dreamed of. As early as I 12, I struggled to make and maintain authentic friendships due to constantly moving. I constantly left my life and good friends behind. I felt lonely, especially after becoming a mom without a friend or a relative in sight. I complained about not having friends all the time and, therefore, struggled to create genuine connections with women. (Because we create our experiences via our repetitive thoughts. More on that here.)Â
I tried meeting friends on Facebook mom groups, the Peanut app, and even went to Meetup events for ladies' nights. I tried and tried to no avail. I’m a social and friendly person, I didn’t understand why meeting like-minded women and building authentic friendships felt so hard all of a sudden! Frustrated, I decided to focus on work and things that have always brought me joy, like personal development and writing. This is when I learned about manifesting, conscious awareness, the law of assumption, and the power of affirming. I decided to affirm to manifest genuine friendships. I had tried everything else with no results and had nothing to lose!
What were my affirmations? How often did I recite them? I’ll share all of this with you now! Here are 17 affirmations for friendships that you can use to create the friendships you’ve always dreamed of!Â

How to Use These Affirmations for Friendship
Record yourself saying these affirmations on an app. (I recommend the Parrot app as it loops audio.) Listen to your affirmations for friendship while asleep for at least 30 days, or until you see your desired friendships forming.Â
Choose 1-3 of the affirmations for friendships and repeat them three times a day for 5-10 minutes a day. Close your eyes as if you’re meditating. Focus on each word as you repeat them in your mind slowly. You can visualize each word or choose a visual to loop in your mind as you affirm. You can also let your mind go and see what pops up naturally! Just don’t force a visual if it’s too difficult.Â
Live your life and be open! Having an open mind and doing the things you love, as I did, will keep your mind off your present circumstances, especially if you feel lonely.Â
Triggered AF as you affirm? Your body is fighting these friendship affirmations to protect you and keep you in the old story and identity. It’s what it knows. Try breathwork. This intro to breathwork video is a great start to learning this technique for nervous system regulation.Â
But am I lying to myself when I affirm for friendships?Â
If you feel like you’re lying to yourself or extremely triggered, practice breathwork a few times a day. You can also reword the affirmations you are listening to at night by using the future tense. Here are some of the affirmations for friendships as above reworded in a less triggering way:Â
I am going to easily make friends.
I am going to trust that I am meeting amazing friends.Â
I am going to effortlessly meet healthy and supportive friendships.Â
I am going to love my friends.
I am going to be booked and busy thanks to my friends.

I am going to be sought after by my friends.Â
